Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds are processed for donations made towards ThriveTN2026 Summit 2026 registration. By completing your registration and making a donation, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
Important: All payments made for ThriveTN2026 registration are considered as voluntary donations to support the organization and execution of the ThriveTN2026 Summit 2026. These donations help facilitate the event infrastructure, sessions, and activities.
2. General Refund Policy
All donations made for ThriveTN2026 are completely non-refundable. Since these are voluntary contributions towards event organization and support, all donations are final once the transaction is completed. We encourage all participants to carefully review event details and sector selections before completing registration and making donations.
3. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be processed ONLY under the following limited circumstances:
3.1 Event Cancellation by Organizers
- Full Refund: If ThriveTN2026 is cancelled by the organizers, all registered participants will receive a 100% refund of their donation amount
- Processing Time: Refunds will be initiated within 14 business days of cancellation announcement
- Notification: Participants will be notified via registered email address
3.2 Technical or Payment Errors
- Duplicate Payment: If you are charged multiple times for the same registration due to technical errors, the duplicate amount will be refunded
- Incorrect Amount Charged: If you are charged an amount different from the displayed registration fee, the excess will be refunded
- Payment Gateway Failure: If payment is deducted but registration is not confirmed, full refund will be processed after verification
4. Non-Refundable Circumstances
All donations are final and non-refundable in the following situations:
- Voluntary Cancellation: All participant-initiated cancellations or change of plans
- Change of Mind: Inability to attend for any personal reason
- Medical or Emergency Situations: No refunds for medical emergencies, personal emergencies, or force majeure affecting individual participants
- Partial Attendance: No partial refunds for missing some sessions or sectors
- Schedule Changes: Any changes to event schedule, speakers, venue, or content
- Promo Code Reductions: Reduced donation amounts via promo codes are non-refundable
- Third-Party Expenses: Travel, accommodation, or other ancillary expenses
- Account Deletion: Voluntary account deletion after registration
- Terms Violation: Account suspension or termination due to policy violations
5. Refund Process
5.1 How to Request a Refund
Refund requests are ONLY applicable for event cancellation by organizers or technical/payment errors. To request a refund in these limited circumstances, you must:
- Send an email to ker@thrivetn2026.in with subject "Refund Request - [Your Registration ID]"
- Include your full name, registration ID, registered email, and mobile number
- Clearly state the reason (event cancellation or technical error) with supporting evidence
- Provide supporting documentation if applicable (medical certificate, error screenshots, etc.)
- Include your bank account details for refund processing
5.2 Refund Review Process
- Acknowledgment: You will receive acknowledgment within 2 business days
- Review Period: Refund requests are reviewed within 7 business days
- Approval/Rejection: You will be notified of the decision via email
- Appeal: If rejected, you may appeal within 7 days with additional documentation
5.3 Refund Timeline
- Approved Refunds: Processed within 14 business days of approval
- Bank Transfer Time: Additional 5-10 business days depending on your bank
- Payment Gateway Refunds: Credited to original payment method (card/UPI/net banking)
- Transaction Fees: Payment gateway charges (2-3%) are non-refundable
6. Transfer of Registration
As an alternative to refund, you may transfer your registration and associated donation benefit to another person:
- Transfer Fee: ₹500 administrative fee for registration transfer
- Timeline: Transfer requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the event
- Process: Email ker@thrivetn2026.in with details of both parties
- Donation Transfer: The donation remains with the event; only the registration benefit is transferred to the new participant
- Approval: Transfers are subject to organizer approval
- Limitations: Registration can be transferred only once
7. Sector Subscription Changes
If you wish to change your sector subscriptions:
- Before Event: Changes allowed up to 15 days before event with ₹200 administrative fee
- Price Difference: If new sectors cost more, you must pay the difference; if less, no refund provided
- Request Process: Submit change request via email with current and desired sectors
- Limitations: Sector changes subject to availability
8. Payment Gateway Refunds
All payments are processed through Razorpay, our secure payment gateway partner. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method:
- Credit/Debit Card: 5-7 business days
- Net Banking: 5-7 business days
- UPI: 3-5 business days
- Wallets: 3-5 business days
Please note that payment gateway transaction fees (approximately 2-3% of transaction amount) are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.
9. Force Majeure
In the event that ThriveTN2026 is postponed (not cancelled) due to force majeure circumstances including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, civil unrest, or any other events beyond the reasonable control of the organizers:
- Registrations will be automatically transferred to the new event date
- Participants will be notified of the new dates as soon as confirmed
- If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, partial refund (50%) may be available
- Refund requests must be submitted within 15 days of postponement announcement
10. Disputed Transactions
If you initiate a chargeback or dispute with your bank/payment provider:
- Your registration may be immediately cancelled
- Access to the event and platform will be revoked
- Please contact us directly before initiating disputes to resolve issues
- Fraudulent chargebacks may result in legal action

The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
