1. Overview
This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancelling your registration to ThriveTN2026 Summit 2026. Please read this policy carefully before completing your registration and making a donation.
Event Format: ThriveTN2026 is primarily an online event accessible virtually. Offline (in-person) attendance is optional for nearby participants. Your registration provides access to the online event regardless of physical attendance.
Important: All payments made for ThriveTN2026 registration are considered as voluntary donations to support the organization and execution of the event. Donations are non-refundable for participant-initiated cancellations.
2. Cancellation by Participants
2.1 No Refund Policy
All donations are final and non-refundable for participant-initiated cancellations at any time. Since donations are voluntary contributions to support event organization, they are retained to cover committed event costs regardless of when cancellation occurs.
2.2 How to Cancel Your Registration
While donations are non-refundable, you may still cancel your registration to update our attendance records:
- Send Email: Email ker@thrivetn2026.in with subject "Registration Cancellation - [Your Registration ID]"
- Include Details: Provide your full name, registration ID, registered email address, mobile number, and reason for cancellation
- Await Confirmation: You will receive acknowledgment within 2 business days
- Cancellation Confirmation: Official cancellation confirmation will be sent within 5 business days
Note: Cancellation confirmation does not entitle you to any refund. Your donation remains with the event to support its organization. Since ThriveTN2026 is primarily an online event, registered participants retain full access to online sessions and event videos through the ThriveIND mobile application after the event, regardless of cancellation or non-attendance.
2.3 Cancellation Processing
- Acknowledgment: Cancellation requests are acknowledged within 2 business days
- Processing Time: Cancellations are processed within 7 business days of request
- Cancellation Date: The date of your email submission is considered the cancellation request date
- Confirmation Email: You will receive official cancellation confirmation via email
- No Refund: Donations are non-refundable as outlined in our Refund Policy
3. Cancellation by Organizers
3.1 Complete Event Cancellation
If ThriveTN2026 is cancelled by the organizers:
- Full Refund: All registered participants will receive 100% refund of their donation amount
- No Deductions: No deductions or charges will apply to the refund
- Notification: Participants will be notified via email and SMS within 24 hours of cancellation decision
- Refund Processing: Refunds will be initiated within 14 business days
- Payment Gateway Fees: Transaction fees will also be refunded
3.2 Event Postponement
If the event is postponed to a later date:
- Automatic Transfer: Your registration will be automatically transferred to the new date
- No Additional Fee: No additional charges for the transferred registration
- Cancellation Option: If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, you may cancel with 50% refund
- Notification Period: Cancellation request must be submitted within 15 days of postponement announcement
- New Event Details: Details of the rescheduled event will be communicated promptly
3.3 Partial Cancellation (Sessions/Sectors)
If specific sessions or sectors are cancelled but the main event proceeds:
- Alternative Sessions: We will offer alternative sessions or sectors of equivalent value
- Partial Refund: If no alternative is acceptable, proportionate refund will be provided
- No Obligation: You are not obligated to accept alternatives
- Refund Calculation: Based on the value of cancelled sector/session relative to total registration
4. No-Show Policy
If you fail to attend the event without prior cancellation:
- No Refund: No refunds will be provided for no-shows
- Non-Transferable: Registration cannot be transferred after the event has started
- Communication: Please inform us in advance if you cannot attend due to emergency
- Late Arrival: Arriving late does not entitle you to refund or compensation
- Post-Event Access: You will still receive access to event videos of your subscribed sectors through the ThriveIND mobile application
5. Cancellation Exceptions
5.1 Medical Emergency
No refunds are provided for medical emergencies. Since donations are voluntary contributions committed to event organization, they remain non-refundable regardless of individual circumstances. Consider registration transfer as an alternative.
5.2 Force Majeure
No refunds are provided for force majeure events affecting individual participants (personal travel restrictions, natural disasters in your region, etc.). Donations are non-refundable as they support committed event infrastructure and arrangements. Alternative options such as virtual participation may be offered where possible.
6. Non-Refundable - All Participant Cancellations
All donations are 100% non-refundable for participant-initiated cancellations. As ThriveTN2026 is primarily an online event, you maintain access to virtual sessions and content regardless of cancellation, including:
- Change of Mind: Inability to attend physically (online participation still possible)
- Medical or Emergency Situations: No refunds for medical emergencies or personal emergencies (online access remains available)
- Force Majeure: No refunds for force majeure events affecting individual participants (online participation option available)
- Partial Attendance: No partial refunds for missing some sessions or sectors
- Schedule Changes: Any changes to event schedule, speakers, venue, or content
- Promo Code Reductions: Reduced donation amounts via promo codes
- Payment Gateway Fees: Transaction processing fees (2-3% of donation amount)
- Administrative Charges: Processing and handling fees
- Committed Event Costs: All donations allocated to event arrangements
- Add-on Services: Any additional services or benefits purchased separately
- Third-Party Bookings: Travel, accommodation, or other arrangements made independently
- Account Deletion: Voluntary account deletion after registration
- Terms Violation: Account suspension or termination due to policy violations
7. Alternative to Cancellation
7.1 Registration Transfer
Instead of cancelling, you may transfer your registration and donation benefit to another person:
- Transfer Fee: ₹500 administrative fee
- Timeline: At least 7 days before the event
- Process: Both parties must provide written consent
- Donation Benefit: Your donation remains with the event; the registration benefit transfers to the new participant
- Transfer Details: New participant must meet all eligibility criteria
- One-Time Only: Registration can only be transferred once
- Approval Required: Subject to organizer approval
7.2 Sector Change
If you want to change sector subscriptions instead of cancelling:
- Change Fee: ₹200 administrative fee
- Timeline: Up to 15 days before the event
- Price Adjustment: Pay difference if new sectors cost more; no refund if less
- Availability: Subject to availability of sectors
- Request Method: Email support with current and desired sectors
8. Group Registration Cancellations
For group registrations (5 or more participants):
- Individual Cancellation: Individual participants can cancel following standard policy
- Partial Group Cancellation: No group discount adjustment for partial cancellations
- Full Group Cancellation: All participants must cancel individually
- Group Discount Impact: If cancellations reduce group size below minimum, discount may be adjusted
9. Cancellation Due to Policy Violation
If your registration is cancelled by organizers due to violation of terms and conditions:
- No Refund: No refunds will be provided
- Immediate Effect: Cancellation is effective immediately
- Platform Access: Access to platform and event materials will be revoked
- Future Participation: May affect eligibility for future events
10. Post-Cancellation
After your cancellation is confirmed:
- Account Status: Your registration will be marked as cancelled
- Email Confirmation: Official cancellation confirmation will be sent
- Platform Access: Access to registered content will be removed
- Refund Processing: Eligible refunds processed as per timeline
- Communications: You will stop receiving event-related communications
- Re-registration: You may re-register if slots are available (no discount for previously paid amount)

Critical Information
- All cancellation requests must be in writing via email
- Verbal or phone cancellations are not accepted
- Cancellation date is determined by email receipt date, not event date awareness
- Weekend and holiday submissions are processed on next business day
- Cancellation fees are non-negotiable except for documented medical/force majeure cases
